\nBelow, the left-hand screenshot was taken on May 28, 2014, and shows that when a user in Japan searches for \u201cTiananmen Massacre\u201d (\u5929\u5b89\u95e8\u5927\u5c60\u6740) in Chinese on Baidu.com, Baidu informs them that \u201cIn accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, some search results have not been displayed.\u201d (\u6839\u636e\u76f8\u5173\u6cd5\u5f8b\u6cd5\u89c4\u548c\u653f\u7b56\uff0c\u90e8\u5206\u641c\u7d22\u7ed3\u679c\u672a\u4e88\u663e\u793a\u3002) Baidu restricts search results to about a dozen websites that under the direct control of the central government and the Communist Party, such as:<\/p>\n

Xinhua
\nChina News
\nGuangming Daily
\nChina Youth Daily
\nPeople\u2019s Daily
\nChina Radio International
\nTaiwan.cn<\/p>\n

The same search done on Baidu\u2019s Japan search engine, Baidu.jp, returns apparently uncensored results, with the first three results being from Youtube.<\/p>\n
