The shortlisted titles are:<\/p>\n<p>Julian Barnes Levels of Life (Cape)<br \/>\nMichael Blakemore Stage Blood (Faber)<br \/>\nSonali Deraniyagala Wave (Virago)<br \/>\nHarry Eyres Horace and Me (Bloomsbury)<br \/>\nPenelope Lively Ammonites and Leaping Fish (Fig Tree)<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The PEN\/Ackerley prize was established in memory of Joe Randolph Ackerley (1896-1967), the author and long-time literary editor of The Listener magazine.
