An Open Letter
:To The Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party,
Peoples Congress Standing Committee and the State Council

ntral Committee should solemnly declare that the Anti-Rightist Movement is in gross violation of our country’s constitution. The fallacy that “Anti-Rightist is correct and necessary, the only shortcoming is the unnecessary extension” is a self-deceptive mistake of outrageous absurdity, which should never be given a place in the history of our republic.
3, Compensate the intellectuals and officials/cadres who, during the Anti-Rightist Movement, lost their jobs, were forced to “reform through labor” or sent to “re-educational labor camp”, as a result of which innumerable families broke up coupled with miserable life since. The victims deserve a spiritual as well as material compensation, at least they should have the legal rights to live a worry-free life in their old age.

We are confident that the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party and the state, who sincerely believe in and adhere to the theory of the “three represents” and advocate the principles of “people-oriented” and the “
concept of scientific development”, as well as all other upright personages of great discernment, will approve of this lawful, fair and reasonable appeal of ours.

Your timely response would be greatly appreciated. .
