阿尔弗雷德友谊新闻奖学金（ALFRED FRIENDLY PRESS FELLOWSHIPS）
阿尔弗雷德友谊新闻奖学金（Alfred Friendly Press Fellowships，简称AFPF）邀请全世界发展中国家的记者和新闻工作者申请2007年的项目。本奖将发给十名文字工作记者，邀请他们到美国来深度实习美国文字媒体的专业知识。此项目从三月开始到九月结束，向年龄在25到35岁之间的记者和新闻工作者开放。
奖学金包括到美国的旅费和在美国的旅行费用、住房费用、保险费和每月的生活费，另外还可以获得申请签证方面的帮助。
2007年的项目从三月中旬开始，先在华盛顿培训两周，其后五个月就在美国全国的新闻社担任实习记者。九月份回到华盛顿总结四天，然后返回本国。
要取得申请资格，申请人必须有至少三年的文字媒体的专业记者的工作经验，必须能有出色的听说读写英语的能力。而且他们也必须是目前在一个本国的非官方的独立媒体工作的记者。

ALFRED FRIENDLY PRESS FELLOWSHIPS
The Alfred Friendly Press Fellowships (AFPF) invites journalists from developing countries to apply for the 2007 fellowship programme, which brings roughly 10 print journalists to the United States for an in-depth, practical introduction to the professional and ethical standards of the American print media.
The programme runs from mid-March to September and is open to journalists between the ages of 25 and 35.
Each fellowship covers travel expenses to the United States; all travel related to the fellowship; housing; insurance; a monthly stipend for living expenses; and assistance in obtaining visas.
Fellows begin the programme in mid-March of 2007 with a two-week orientation session in Washington, D.C., after which they spend the next five months working as staff reporters in news rooms across the country. In September, fellows return to Washington, D.C. for four days before going back to their home country.
To be eligible for the fellowships, applicants must have at least three years of professional experience as a journalist for print media, and must have an excellent command of spoken and written English. They must also be currently working with an independent print media organisation in the country of their citizenship.
