Zeng Jinyan:Three Words At An Airport

(By Zeng Jinyan)

Nostalgia
A foreign word pronounced by
the old man
sitting at the corner of the airport
He leaves the respected hometown
searching for a permanent place
called Nostalgia

In melancholia
the young woman drinks a cup of Vanilla
looking at the stranger’s lips
tell me your destination
My destiny?
The man shakes his head
Melancholia is your destiny

Voluptuary
He closes his eyes
Seeing bodies
twisted
for the joy of death
or for the pain of love
The flight boards
to Paris
